ABOUT ME
Who am I?
My name is Marija Đurđević. I'm a product designer at Apex Fusion | HAL8, a company focused on building innovative solutions in Web3. There, I work closely with cross-functional teams to design user-centered products that simplify complex systems through intuitive, purposeful design.
Before joining Apex Fusion, I worked as a freelancer, collaborating with startups and companies on a variety of Web3 and fintech projects. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to explore the full spectrum of product design — from early discovery and UX strategy to polished UI execution — across different environments, from agile startup teams to structured corporate settings.
What’s my expertise?
My core focus is on Web3 — the idea of decentralization continues to inspire me, both conceptually and practically. I’m especially passionate about designing products that make Web3 more accessible, usable, and impactful.
I first entered the Web3 space in early 2020 through MVP Workshop and Attic42, where I found the perfect environment for deep product development and hands-on learning. Prior to that, I worked on fintech products — most notably the UBS eBanking app, developed at Namics, which remains one of the projects I’m most proud of.
Beyond hands-on design work, I also enjoy sharing my experience through talks and lectures. I've been invited to speak at Web3 Academy, IXDA Belgrade, Product Camp, and the UX Course, covering topics such as dApp design patterns, design systems, user personas, and more.
